A series of Quranic and cultural programs is to be held for university students during the holy month of Ramadan, cultural deputy of Supreme Leader’s Representative Office in Universities said.

Ahlul Bayt News Agency (ABNA.ir), Hojat-ol-Islam Qoraishi, who is also secretary of the Council for Coordinating Quranic Activities at Universities, said some 100,000 students will benefit form the Ziafat-e Andishe (festival of thought) Plan, which is to be held for 22 days during the holy month.

The programs will include Quranic sessions, forums, courses on Islamic teachings, film reviews and sessions on the Islamic Revolution.

The holy month of Ramadan will begin on August 12 this year. It is a month-long Islamic celebration which involves Muslims worldwide fasting from sunrise to sunset.
