Ahlul Bayt News Agency (ABNA.ir), Speaking before Friday prayer sermons at Tehran University campus, Hamid Reza Hajibabayi said that establishing the Quran centers and prayer rooms was aimed at promoting the culture of Quran and prayer among students.
Referring to the Teachers Day, he stressed the significant role of teachers in society and noted that educating the society was the mission of the prophets of God (peace be upon them).
He said that in order for achieving cultural, economic and political progress in the country, the filed of education should be given priority “because progress and advancement in every arena begins with education.”
Hajibabayi also gave a brief report of the Education Ministry’s activities and said that the ministry is planning to bring fundamental changes to school books and improve and update teaching methods.
