Ahlul Bayt News Agency (ABNA.ir), Hundreds of Syrians and Palestinians gathered in a candle march in Damascus in solidarity with Muslim prisoners and captives in the Israeli occupation prisons.
The march was organized by the National Union of Syrian Students and the Prisoners Support Committee.
Participants in the march handed over a message to the International Red Cross office in Damascus calling on all international and humanitarian organizations to set free the Muslims particularly Syrians prisoners from the Israeli jails.
The Prisoners Support Committee chairman Ali al-Younes said the march comes to support the steadfastness of prisoners and detainees in Israeli jails and to condemn their detention by Israel for more than 25 years. He urged the UN Security Council and the United Nations to put pressure on Israel to set free Syrian prisoners.
