ABNA24 - The representative of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine in Europe; Sayed Ahmed Al-Radi Al-Husseini, honored the Imam of the Trollhättan Mosque in Sweden, Sheikh Ahmed Maqbool, in appreciation of his efforts in the field of religious preaching and guidance.
The honoring came under the guidance of the Senior Official of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine; His Eminence Sayed Ahmad Al-Safi, as part of supporting religious figures who contributed to spreading Islamic awareness and the teachings of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) in various parts of the world.
Sheikh Ahmed Maqbool is considered one of the first religious leaders who undertook the mission of preaching in Europe, having spent more than sixty years spreading Islamic teachings and guiding community members.
This honor comes as part of the approach of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine in communicating with religious figures from various countries around the world. It included presenting gifts from the blessings of the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) and a commemorative shield, in appreciation of his journey in serving Islam and his efforts in spreading religious values and enhancing societal awareness.
