AhlulBayt News Agency: The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced on Thursday an update on the casualties of the ongoing Israeli genocide since October 7, 2023.
The total death toll has risen to 72,549, while the number of injured has reached 172,274.
According to the ministry’s daily statistical report, hospitals received 8 fatalities and 24 injured over the past 48 hours. The report also noted the addition of 196 names to the cumulative death toll following the completion of their data and official documentation by the relevant committee.
Furthermore, the ministry stated that the total number of victims since the ceasefire on October 11 stands at 773 deaths and 2,171 injuried. It highlighted that a significant number of victims remain missing under rubble or on roadways, as ambulance and civil defense teams continue to face difficulties reaching them.
