AhlulBayt News Agency: The Medical Affairs Department of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine organized a visit to support children suffering from cancer at Imam Al-Hassan Al-Mujtaba Hospital.
The visit came in collaboration with the Public Relations Department and the Al-Afaf Shopping Complex, both affiliated with the Holy Shrine, and the Karbala Health Directorate; to provide moral support to the children and strengthen their resilience in facing the illness.
The assistant head of the department, Mr. Maher Khaled, said: "The department organized a visit to children suffering from cancer at Imam Al-Hassan Al-Mujtaba Hospital (peace be upon him) and presented them with gifts to support them morally and psychologically, strengthen their will to face the disease, and assist them in their treatment journey."
He added that "the visit is part of a series of regular visits adopted by the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine to ensure sustainable care for children suffering from cancer and to stand by their families."
For his part, the Director General of the Karbala Health Department, Dr. Safaa Al-Dada, stated that "cooperation with the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine represents a vital step that has a significant impact on the psychology of patients, both children and adults," noting that "bringing joy to the hearts of patients and their families positively reflects on their treatment path and boosts their spirit of resilience."
