Int’l Webinar on the Role of Women in Social Resilience During Wartime Held

The international webinar on the role of women in social resilience during wartime, featuring micro-narratives from the Ramadan War in Islamic Iran, was organized by the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.

AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Organized by the General Department of Women and Family of the Deputy for International Affairs of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, in cooperation with the Local Assembly of Lebanon, the international webinar on the role of women in social resilience during wartime was held, featuring micro-narratives from the Ramadan War in Islamic Iran.

In this webinar, Dr. Roknabadi, the Director General of the Department of Women and Family Affairs of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, as the first speaker, welcomed the women present at the meeting and discussed the role of women during wartime, focusing on the status of the women of AhlulBayt (a.s.) in this regard.

Additionally, another speaker at this online session, Ms. Zainab Shariatmadar, a researcher and scholar in the field of women's studies, while sharing her own firsthand experiences of the Ramadan War, vividly portrayed the activities of women in this arena.

At the end, sisters from various countries shared their experiences regarding resistance and social resilience. Among the key points raised by them was the prominent social presence of women, children, and even the elderly in defending the resistance front.
