Regime has changed; the Strait of Hormuz regime: Iran VP mocks enemies

Vice President Mohammad-Reza Aref has mocked enemies for their strategic illusion and unfulfilled dream of "regime change" in Iran, saying they can now see a change in the regime not in the Islamic Republic, but in the Strait of Hormuz.

Vice President Mohammad-Reza Aref has mocked enemies for their strategic illusion and unfulfilled dream of "regime change" in Iran, saying they can now see a change in the regime not in the Islamic Republic, but in the Strait of Hormuz.

"Yes, the regime has changed, of course the regime of the Strait of Hormuz!" Aref wrote in a post in Persian on his X social media account on Sunday.

Stating that the regime of the Strait of Hormuz will no longer be the same as before, he announced that the administration is determined to "turn the field achievements into sustainable economic and security benefits for the country."

Top Iranian officials have repeatedly made it clear that the existing insecurity in the Strait of Hormuz is rooted in the US-Israeli military aggression, prompting the Islamic Republic to take control of the strategic waterway and legally "prevent" the passage of vessels belonging to the aggressors and their allies.
