AhlulBayt News Agency: Iran’s Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the United Nations office in Geneva, Ali Bahreini, has said that targeting Iran in the political and legal organizations would further embolden Israel, calling on regional countries to unite against Tel Aviv’s “vicious plans”.
Addressing a meeting of the UN human Rights Council on Wednesday, Bahreini said that Israel’s attacks are not limited to Iran, Lebanon and Palestinian people, rather it has targeted regional order and is driving the world towards chaos and instability.
He then ensured Iran’s neighbors that Iran will not be Israel’s last target and that they will be more easily reached targets for Israel in implementing its “dangerous and ideological plans” after the Iran war.
Bahreini stressed that today Iran – on behalf of all the regional countries – is fighting with an enemy which he said would be uncontrollable tomorrow if not curbed today.
He also noted that Iranian civilian facilities – including 53 hospitals and 57 schools – have been targeted from US bases in some neighboring countries and Iran is entitled to respond by targeting the origins of the attacks.
