ABNA24 - Kazakhstan’s President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev says his country supports initiatives for a resolution to the current regional tensions, and is ready to contribute to de-escalation through diplomatic means.
In a message on Sunday to President Masoud Pezeshkian on the occasion of the Persian New Year (Nowruz) and Eid al-Fitr, Tokayev expressed hope for peace throughout the Muslim world and intensified solidarity among Muslim countries.
Noting that the quick escalation in the region, surrounding Iran, was a source of serious concern, the Kazakh president said he was confident that Iran could overcome these difficult days with “patience, wisdom, unity and solidarity”.
