ABNA24 - Lebanon’s Islamic resistance movement Hezbollah said on Thursday it targeted gatherings of Israeli regimes’ troops in the border town of Houla with missile strikes, describing the attacks as part of its defense of Lebanon and its people.

In a statement, Hezbollah said its fighters struck Israeli troop concentrations in “Khirbet al-Manara” near Houla using missiles.

Separately, the group said it also fired rockets and artillery shells at Israeli military gatherings in border areas, including near “Rab al-Thalathin” and “Aitaroun.”

In another development, Hezbollah said military positions at “al-Marj site” opposite “Merkaba” were hit in two separate attacks using explosive drones.

Meanwhile, Hezbollah said that in the early hours of Thursday it used guided missiles to target several Merkava tanks in the “Bidar al-Faqa’ni” area in the town of Taybeh.

According to the statement, six enemy tanks were directly hit in three closely timed strikes.

Hezbollah said the operations were carried out within the framework of the “defense of Lebanon and its people,” adding that attacks were ongoing in some areas.

The resistance group said its fighters continued to shell targeted positions with rockets and artillery.

In a separate statement, Hezbollah said it had carried out a total of 33 missile and drone operations against Israeli positions the previous day.
