The Zoroastrian Association of Yazd Province, central Iran, has expressed congratulations on the selection of the New Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei, wishing him success in leading the Iranian nation.
The association issued a message on Wednesday, three days after Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei was chosen by Iran’s Assembly of Experts as new Leader of the Islamic Revolution to succeed his late father Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei.
It congratulated the people of Iran on the worthy selection of Ayatollah Khamenei, describing him as an example of piety and the rightful heir to his martyred father, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei.
The Zoroastrian Association of Yazd prayed to Ahura Mazda for Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei’s success in sincerely serving the country and the Iranian people.
Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei was martyred on February 28 in an airstrike on his office in Tehran in the early hours of the ongoing US-Israeli war of aggression on Iran.
