‘Iron Dome is an irony’: Qalibaf scoffs at Israel’s failure to stop Iranian missiles

Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf says Iran is able to target the Israeli-occupied territories with fewer missiles, as the occupying regime’s so-called Iron Dome has been almost made redundant by the Islamic Republic’s earlier strikes.

Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf says Iran is able to target the Israeli-occupied territories with fewer missiles, as the occupying regime’s so-called Iron Dome has been almost made redundant by the Islamic Republic’s earlier strikes.

“US claims that has destroyed Iran’s missile capabilities. The initial waves of large-scale missile launches were intended to blind enemy radars and defense systems,” Qalibaf wrote on his X account on Wednesday.

“Now, Iran can target any location it chooses with fewer missiles,” he said, adding, “Today, the ‘Iron Dome’ appears to be an irony.”

The United States and Israeli launched an unprovoked war on Iran on February 28, assassinating the former Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei and top Iranian military commanders in the midst of Tehran-Washington negotiations.

Iran immediately launched retaliatory strikes against Israeli and American targets across the region using volleys of drones and missiles.
