Iran: Continuation of War to Halt Oil Sales, Production in West Asia

Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf accused US President Donald Trump of “burning America’s interests”, and warned that global oil supplies risk being irrevocably damaged and disrupted.

AhlulBayt News Agency: Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf accused US President Donald Trump of “burning America’s interests”, and warned that global oil supplies risk being irrevocably damaged and disrupted.

“Trump, who once used to assert that oil prices won’t soar, is now claiming they will quickly rebound following their surge,” Qalibaf wrote in a post published on his X account on Sunday.

The joint US-Israeli aggression against Iran, which was launched in late February with the assassination of Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei and a number of senior military commanders, constitutes a flagrant violation of Iran’s national sovereignty and territorial integrity.More than 1,300 civilians, including nearly 200 children, were martyred in the assault, and non-military sites like schools and hospitals were attacked.Within the framework of their legitimate response, Iranian Armed Forces immediately conducted forceful missile and drone strikes against US interests in the region and Israeli assets in the occupied territories.

“If the war goes on, there will neither be any chances for the crude oil sales and production. Beside US interests, those of the region and the whole world will be burnt at the cost of Netanyahu’s delusions,” Qalibaf added.
