President Masoud Pezeshkian has hailed Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei as the new Leader of the Islamic Revolution, saying his valuable election is a reflection of the will of the Iranian people in strengthening national unity and perseverance.
In a message on Monday morning, Pezeshkian congratulated Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei as the third Leader of the Islamic Revolution, stating that the decisive and intelligent choice of the Assembly of Experts, to succeed Martyr Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, signals a new era of dignity and authority for the Iranian nation.
The statement said the new Leader would help strengthen national unity and cohesion that have been instrumental in protecting the Iranian nation against the enemy plots and conspiracies.
Recounting the achievements of the martyred leader in preserving the Islamic Establishment and providing a solid foundation for the future of Iran, Pezeshkian prayed that the country under Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei would reach a bright horizon of sustainable independence, scientific and technological progress, and overall development through unity and wisdom
Referring to the current challenges, the President noted that Iran had shown throughout its history of firmness and determination in the face of hardships but, relying on collective wisdom, faith, and continuous efforts, overcomes those challenges.
According to him, despite the brutal and blatant aggression of the United States and the Israeli regime, the remarkable resistance of the Iranian nation, efficiency and progress are facilitated through the same valuable assets and capabilities of diverse-minded elites, brave youth, and officials, but with the insight and planning of the martyred leader.
Praying for a progressive and independent Iran, Pezeshkian said the country would overcome the current challenges under the wise leadership of Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei and by creating an environment based on trust, empathy, and unity.
