AhlulBayt News Agency: Foreign minister Abbas Araghchi has held separate talks with his Indian and Sri Lankan counterparts, Subrahmanyam Jaishankarin and Vijitha Herath, to discuss regional developments following the military aggression by the US and Israeli regime against Iran.

During the separate phone calls on Saturday, Araghchi detailed the crimes committed by the Israeli regime and the United States in their military aggression against Iran in recent days, emphasizing the responsibility of all governments and the United Nations to unequivocally condemn the criminal actions of the US and Israeli regime.

The top Iranian diplomat strongly condemned US’ crime of targeting Destroyer Dena in international waters, two thousand miles away from Iran’s shores, without warning, emphasizing the need for legal and international pursuit of this crime before international courts.

Araghchi also thanked Sri Lanka for its efforts in the rescue operation of the crew of the Dena, while stressing the importance of safeguarding Iranian ships and ensuring the safety of their crew.
