AhlulBayt News Agency: The Islamic Republic of Iran Army announces that the Islamic Republic has launched a drone attack against Tel Aviv in reaction to the the illegal and unjustified attacks by the criminal US-Israeli regimes against the country.
On the sixth day of the Zionist regime's aggression against Iran, a statement released by the army said that drones of the Army Air Force attacked targets in Tel Aviv and the Meron radar site of the Zionist regime, causing serious damage to the installations.
In another statement, the Army announced the downing of an advanced Israeli Hermes drone in the western city of Qasr-e-Shirin, Kermanshah Province, on Thursday morning.`
Analysts note that the joint US-Israeli invasion, which began on February 28, 2026, following the martyrdom of Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, disregarded ongoing indirect negotiations. In response, Iran launched precise retaliatory strikes against Israeli positions and US bases, citing its inherent right to self-defense under Article 51 of the UN Charter and warned that further escalation will invite a harsher reaction.
