A total of 660 Sunni clerics from Sistan and Baluchestan province have issued a statement following the martyrdom of the Leader of the Islamic Ummah, His Eminence Ayatollah Imam Khamenei.

AhlulBayt News Agency: A total of 660 Sunni clerics from Sistan and Baluchestan province have issued a statement following the martyrdom of the Leader of the Islamic Ummah, His Eminence Ayatollah Imam Khamenei.

The full text of the statement is as follows:

"And never think of those who have been killed in the cause of Allah as dead. Rather, they are alive with their Lord, receiving provision." — Allah the Exalted has spoken the truth.

"Indeed, to Allah we belong, and to Him we shall return."

The Islamic Ummah is plunged into profound mourning. A radiant sun has set on the horizon of jihad and resistance; yet, the light of its guidance shall forever remain in the sky of the Ummah’s awakening.

His Eminence Ayatollah Imam Khamenei, a righteous servant of God, the Supreme Jurist, and the wise Leader of the Islamic Ummah, after a lifetime of sincere struggle for the exaltation of the word of truth, the defense of pure Islam, and the support of the oppressed worldwide, has attained the great bounty of martyrdom, joining the luminous caravan of martyrs on the path of truth.

This Mujahid, courageous, insightful, and wise Leader was a continuator of the path of the great figures by whose names the history of Islam is illuminated—from the Messenger of God, Muhammad Mustafa (PBUH), to Amir al-Mu'minin Ali, the Martyr of the Mihrab, and Sayyid al-Shuhada Imam Hussein. Now, he too has taken his place among the martyred leaders of the Ummah in the proud history of resistance.

Through his wise leadership and unwavering resolve, Imam Khamenei consolidated and strengthened the foundations of the Islamic Republic of Iran, transforming it into a dignified and resilient power in the fields of science, progress, jihad, and resistance. It is a nation that stood firmly against global arrogance and held high the banner of honor and independence.

Ultimately, this great leader attained martyrdom during the holy month of Ramadan, the month of jihad and the revelation of the Quran, at the hands of the most vicious criminals of the age—the American and Zionist terrorists. His pure blood once again laid bare the malevolent nature of the enemies of Islam and humanity.

We, the clerics and scholars of the Ahl al-Sunnah of Sistan and Baluchestan province, offer our condolences and sympathy for this immense loss to the Islamic Ummah, the noble nation of Iran, and all free people of the world. We beseech Almighty God to resurrect this martyred Leader alongside the martyrs of early Islam and His righteous saints.

Undoubtedly, the religious and historical duty of scholars, intellectuals, and all freedom-seekers worldwide, particularly Muslims, is to not remain silent in the face of this blatant aggression and heinous American-Zionist crime. This attack is not merely directed against one nation or one land; it is a clear assault on Islam, the faith, and the identity of the Islamic Ummah.

Therefore, we, the Ahl al-Sunnah scholars of Baluchistan, while vehemently condemning this horrific crime and grievous tragedy, with hearts filled with sorrow yet brimming with Islamic resolve and zeal, declare jihad against the criminal Zionist regime and its arrogant supporters as a great religious duty.

Furthermore, while expressing our gratitude and commendation to the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran, we announce our full support for the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and the Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran in their defense of the nation's honor and security.

In conclusion, we call upon the noble and vigilant people of Sistan and Baluchestan province to maintain calm, unity, and trust in the armed forces. With revolutionary awareness and insight, let them thwart the plots and seditions of the enemies, dissident groups, and Pahlavi-lackeys in their infancy, and, as always, remain the guardians of the security, unity, and dignity of the Islamic Iran.
