Hashem al-Haidari, a senior Iraqi cleric and former deputy of the Popular Mobilization Units (PMU) issued a Fatwa (religious edict) for Jihad.

AhlulBayt News Agency: Hashem al-Haidari, a senior Iraqi cleric and former deputy of the Popular Mobilization Units (PMU) issued a Fatwa (religious edict) for Jihad.

The Fatwa of Al-Haidari, who is a Shia source of emulation in the Arab country, came following the assassination of Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei in a US-Israeli attack on February 28.

He said all Muslims and Shias must accept their great historical responsibility in the current conditions.

The US and Israel have assassination a source of emulation and the leader of Muslims and remaining silent on it is not justifiable, he stated.

Al-Haidari described it as shameful for Muslim countries’ governments to be impartial regarding the US-Israeli aggression on Iran that began with the assassination of the Leader of Islamic Revolution.

The US and Israeli regime launched strikes on Iran starting Saturday morning, February 28.

In response to the US-Israeli aggression, which has led to the martyrdom of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, a number of senior military commanders and hundreds of civilians, Iran has launched Operation True Promise 4, carrying out massive missile and drone attacks on Israeli targets and US bases in the region.
