Education Minister Alireza Kazemi says the terrorist US-Israeli attacks have damaged nearly 20 schools and educational units across the country, while killing 170 students and teachers.
Speaking during a visit to some schools and educational units in Tehran that were damaged in the ongoing onslaughts, Kazemi extended his condolences to the families of students and educational staff across the country.
“Perhaps such a crime has rarely occurred in the history of humanity,” he said, denouncing the “savage” attacks by an enemy that claims to promote human rights.
He noted that some 20 educational units have been directly and indirectly damaged by the terrorist US-Israeli attacks, but reassured the people that the reconstruction work will begin as soon as possible.
The United States and Israel launched a war of aggression against Iran on Saturday morning by assassinating Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei and top military commanders, despite indirect Tehran-Washington negotiations.
