AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Following the martyrdom of Imam Sayed Ali Khamenei, Ayatollah Hadavi Tehrani expressed his condolences in a statement, saying, “Undoubtedly, the leadership abilities and practical sincerity of the late wise leader, which manifested over thirty-six years in various arenas, have left a lasting legacy for all truth-seekers worldwide and provide a direct path for those who wish to continue his path.”
Ayatollah Hadavi Tehrani added, “It is hoped that the Assembly of Leadership Experts, with wisdom and foresight, will appoint a worthy individual to succeed the late leader, ensuring that the glorious banner of the Islamic Republic, which was raised by Imam Khomeini and continued by the martyred Imam Sayed Ali Khamenei, will remain a symbol of honor and pride in the records of contemporary history, bringing genuine hope and joy to all those who cherish it, Insha Allah.”
The Qom Seminary scholar continued, “Today, Iranian missiles and drones, developed by the country’s scientists under the most challenging sanctions, have been used by Iranian generals to devastate the military and economic centers of the Zionist regime and the bases of the criminal United States in the region. In these circumstances, the martyrdom of the Imam at the hands of these wicked perpetrators has strengthened the determination of the righteous warriors of Islam to combat these agents of corruption and depravity, granting them additional strength in their struggle against unbelief and oppression.”
In conclusion, Ayatollah Hadavi Tehrani expressed his hope that, under the divine support and guidance of Imam Mahdi (a.s.), the backbone of the wicked enemy will be completely broken, and all their foolish supporters will be forever disillusioned with the hollow system, rendered powerless and humiliated by the wisdom and trust in God of the Iranian people.”
