AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Prominent Islamic scholar and Secretary of Tanzeem-ul-Makatib, Maulana Syed Safi Haider, has said that it is the need of the hour to raise a strong and united voice against the growing politics of threats and “international bullying” at the global level. He clearly stated that justice-loving Indians will not allow any power to destroy global peace and justice or to intimidate any country through threats.
Maulana said that India has always stood for peace, tolerance, and mutual respect. Our country has consistently given the message of peace to the world, and as citizens of a peace-loving and justice-seeking nation, we feel it is our responsibility to speak out wherever there is injustice or politics based on threats.
He said that whether it is Iran or Venezuela, threats against any sovereign country are unacceptable and strongly condemnable.
Criticizing recent U.S. policies, he said that the attitude of the so-called global power is worrying. He added that issuing threats such as kidnapping or assassinating Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei, is not only a violation of international law but also a dangerous signal for world peace.
He said that Ayatollah Khamenei is not only Iran’s Supreme Leader but also a religious guide for Shia Muslims around the world, and any aggression or conspiracy against him will not be tolerated.
He further said that if any action is taken against any religious or national leader in such a manner, they will not remain silent. Instead, they will protest strongly within democratic and constitutional limits. He emphasized that this issue is not limited to one religion or sect but concerns human dignity and global justice.
Maulana Safi Haider also urged the Government of India to take strict action against propaganda and fake news that target religious leaders.
He said that some media channels spread irresponsible and sensational news for attention, which harms social harmony, and such elements should face legal action.
He announced that under the banner of the “Peace and Justice Movement,” a signature campaign is being launched from today. Scholars, preachers, intellectuals, social figures from different religions, and citizens will be asked to sign. The aim of this campaign is to present a united message in favor of global peace, justice, and respect for religion.
He also said that after the holy month of Ramadan, there are plans to organize an interfaith conference against alleged oppression and global pressure politics by the United States. Leaders of different religions will be invited to jointly promote the message of peace, justice, and protection of human rights.
In conclusion, Maulana Syed Safi Haider said that their aim is not hostility toward any country or nation, but to promote justice, sovereignty, and mutual respect at the global level. India has always stood for peace, and they will continue to carry forward this tradition
