Maulana Safi Haider Congratulates Supreme Leader and Iranian Nation on 47th Anniversary of Islamic Revolution

Maulana Syed Safi Haider Zaidi, Secretary of Tanzeemul Makatib, has issued a statement congratulating Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei and the people of Iran on the 47th anniversary of the success of the Islamic Revolution.

AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Maulana Syed Safi Haider Zaidi, Secretary of Tanzeemul Makatib, has issued a statement congratulating Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei and the people of Iran on the 47th anniversary of the success of the Islamic Revolution.

His statement is as follows:

All praise be to Allah, 47 years have passed since the success of the Islamic Revolution of Iran. After overthrowing the oppressive 2,500-year-old monarchical system, an Islamic Republic was established.

On this occasion, messages of congratulations were seen from democratic leaders and heads of governments around the world, including India. The 22nd of Bahman is an unforgettable day in the history of the Islamic Revolution of Iran—the day when truth triumphed over falsehood, steadfastness defeated tyranny, and the honorable nation of Iran shaped its own destiny through faith, unity, and sincere leadership.

On this occasion, we extend heartfelt congratulations to Hazrat Wali-e-Asr (may Allah hasten his reappearance), to all believers, to the entire Muslim world, and to the oppressed and weak people around the globe.

On 22 Bahman 1357 (Hijri Shamsi), under the wise leadership of Imam Khomeini (RA), the people of Iran uprooted the system of oppression and tyranny and laid the foundation of a system based on the golden principles of “Independence, Freedom, Islamic Republic,” which continues to stand firm to this day and, God willing, will remain so.

The world’s largest democracy, our beloved country India, is culturally and historically very close to Iranian civilization and has always supported democratic systems, including Iran’s system and other democratic governments around the world.

This revolution was not merely a political change, but a great intellectual, spiritual, and cultural awakening that gave hope, courage, and a new message of struggle to the oppressed people of the world.

The Islamic Revolution proved that when a nation unites under its religious identity, Islamic values, and divine leadership, even the greatest world powers cannot defeat its determination.

The 22nd of Bahman reminds us that a revolution is not just an event but a continuing responsibility. Protecting it through justice, fairness, self-reliance, scientific progress, and moral integrity is a shared duty.

Today, the Islamic Revolution of Iran has become a source of strength and support for weak and oppressed nations around the world. It remains a challenge to imperialist powers and tyrannical rulers.

The 22nd of Bahman—the Day of the Victory of the Islamic Revolution—is, in fact, a declaration of the global defeat of arrogance and oppression and the global victory of the oppressed.

With regards,
Syed Safi Haider
(Secretary, Tanzeemul Makatib)
