AhlulBayt News Agency: The Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine held the "Cover and Chastity" festival to honor female students wearing the Iraqi abaya at universities in Salah al-Din Governorate.
The festival was organized by the University and School Relations Division of the Public Relations Department at the Holy Shrine, as part of the National Al-Kafeel Youth Project, at the Imam Ja'far al-Sadeq (peace be upon him) University in the province.

He added, "The festival is part of a series of programs dedicated to honoring female students who wear the Iraqi abaya in universities," pointing out that "it aims to raise the level of religious awareness in university circles."
For his part, the President of Imam Ja'far al-Sadeq University (peace be upon him), Dr. Muhammad Hikmat, affirmed that "the efforts of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine in establishing these initiatives confirm that scientific institutions, in addition to being platforms for knowledge, also reinforce the culture of modesty and the societal norms advocated by Islam."
He explained that "the plans made in coordination with the holy shrine aim to expand the festival to include the honoring of around 1,500 female students next year."
The Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine aims, through these activities, to enhance the commitment to authentic Islamic values and to establish the culture of the abaya among different segments of society, especially within the university community.
