Al-Abbas Holy Shrine honors +350 female students wearing Iraqi abaya at Southern Technical University in Dhi Qar

The Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine honored more than 350 female students wearing the Iraqi abaya at the Technical College affiliated with the Southern Technical University in the district of Al-Shatra in Dhi Qar Governorate.

AhlulBayt News Agency: The Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine honored more than 350 female students wearing the Iraqi abaya at the Technical College affiliated with the Southern Technical University in the district of Al-Shatra in Dhi Qar Governorate.

This was part of the Noor and Waqaar Festival to honor female students wearing the Iraqi abaya, organized by the University and School Relations Division of the Public Relations Department at the Holy Shrine, as part of the National Al-Kafeel Youth Project, in collaboration with the university.

The head of the university activities unit of the department, Mr. Mustafa Falah Irsan, said: "The festival is part of a series of programs dedicated to honoring female students who wear the Iraqi abaya in universities," affirming that "the festival aims to enhance religious and cultural awareness among female students."

For his part, the Dean of the College, Dr. Mohamed Said Haran, explained that "these initiatives send a message to society that scientific institutions are not just platforms for knowledge, but also platforms for human thought and the establishment of modesty and societal norms advocated by Islam."

The Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine aims to hold the festival to promote authentic Islamic values and reinforce the commitment to wearing the abaya among female students.
