AhlulBayt News Agency: The Hamas Movement stated that today’s deadly bombardment in the Gaza Strip, which killed more than 20 civilians, proves that Israel’s genocidal war has not stopped.
Hamas said in a Wednesday statement that this escalation reflects what it described as Netanyahu’s deliberate attempt to undermine the second phase of the ceasefire agreement, particularly regarding the reopening of the Rafah crossing.
The Movement rejected Israeli claims of a shooting incident targeting a soldier in northern Gaza, calling it “a flimsy pretext” used to justify continued crimes and aggression against Palestinians, and an effort to impose a permanent state of fear and oppression in Gaza.
Hamas urged mediators and sponsors of the ceasefire agreement to take a firm stance against what it called “war criminal Netanyahu,” accusing him of systematically working to derail the agreement and resume the campaign of killing and starvation in Gaza.
