AhlulBayt News Agency: Diplomats, ambassadors, and senior officials of Iran’s Foreign Ministry issued a collective statement reaffirming their allegiance to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, in response to recent threats made by US President Donald Trump.
In the statement released on Tuesday, the signatories sharply criticized Trump’s insulting remarks, arguing that such comments violate international law and expose what they described as the fragility and moral decline of the arrogant powers when confronted with the steadfastness of the Iranian nation and the rising influence of the Resistance Front.
The statement further declared the signatories’ renewed allegiance to Ayatollah Khamenei, noting that they consider themselves duty‑bound to follow his guidance in matters of foreign policy and international affairs.
According to the statement, the late founder of the Islamic Republic, Imam Khomeini, stressed the necessity of confronting arrogant powers with dignity—an approach continued by Ayatollah Khamenei, who, through strength and wisdom, leads the Resistance Front against the Zionist regime and its supporters, and holds a respected position in the Islamic world and among global freedom‑seekers.
The statement added that Trump’s threats violate three core principles of the UN Charter: the prohibition of interference in internal affairs, the prohibition of the use of force, and the obligation to respect international commitments regarding counterterrorism.
The signatories urged that Donald Trump be prosecuted in international courts for violating international law, supporting terrorism, and endangering global peace and security.
They also called on Muslims, freedom‑seekers, and independent governments worldwide to condemn Trump’s unlawful and threatening behavior and to stand firmly against it.
