AhlulBayt News Agency: An event organized by the Professors and Intellectuals Forum Pakistan in collaboration with Maktab Imam Zaman was held in Karachi, bringing together men, women, and children for a conference titled “The Journey of Imam Hussain and Renewal of Allegiance.”
The conference took place at the Karbala Martyrs Complex in the Ancholi Society area of the city. Alongside speeches and religious discussions, special activities were arranged for young children, including drawing, painting, and puzzles, aimed at engaging them in a family-friendly environment.
According to organizers, the event sought to emphasize religious values associated with Imam Hussain, a central figure in Shia Islam, while encouraging community participation across generations.
The program concluded with a symbolic pledge of loyalty by children, joined by Dr. Saeed Talebi Nia, Director General of the Iranian Cultural Center in Karachi. The pledge was made in reference to Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, whom participants described as the leader of the Muslim world.
The event reflects the continued cultural and religious engagement of pro-Iranian Shia organizations in Pakistan, particularly in urban centers such as Karachi, where such gatherings are periodically held.
