Hamas condemns Israeli provocation against al-Aqsa Mosque

The Palestinian resistance movement Hamas has lashed out the far-right Israeli minister, Itamar Ben Gvir, for another storming of the holy al-Aqsa Mosque.

AhlulBayt News Agency: The Palestinian resistance movement Hamas has lashed out the far-right Israeli minister, Itamar Ben Gvir, for another storming of the holy al-Aqsa Mosque.

Hamas, in its latest statement, called the ‘shameless’ move by Ben Gvir in line with Israel’s policy of desecrating the Islamic sanctities and Judaization of the holy site.

A group of Israeli settlers, led by Itamar Ben Gvir, stormed al-Aqsa Mosque in an apparent provocation against Palestinians and the holy site.

Confrontation between the Palestinians and Israeli security forces followed the raid by the extremist minister and Israeli settlers.

Israeli raids across the occupied West Bank and al-Quds have scaled up after the regime’s genocide in Gaza in October 2023.

The regime forces maintain constant presence at the mosque tightening security measures particularly during the Islamic occasions and Jewish religious ceremonies.
