Isfahan bishop condemns foreign intervention in Iran’s internal affairs

The Bishop of the Armenians in Isfahan has emphasized that any intervention in Iran’s internal affairs by other countries is condemned, because the Islamic Republic is capable of coping with its problems.

AhlulBayt News Agency: The Bishop of the Armenians in Isfahan has emphasized that any intervention in Iran’s internal affairs by other countries is condemned, because the Islamic Republic is capable of coping with its problems.

The bishop made the remarks on Tuesday evening in a meeting with Governor of Isfahan Province Mehdi Jamalinejad, saying that certain deeds such as setting fire to mosques and destructing property are unacceptable and condemned.

Daesh-style activities against women and children are slammed, he said, noting that there are similar problems in other countries, but they are not resolved by resorting such actions.

He underlined that any dialogue and demand should be raised in a tranquil atmosphere to bear fruit.

Referring to rich culture of Iran, especially Isfahan, he expressed hope for restoring calm and taking positive steps for the country.
