AhlulBayt News Agency: Security forces have tracked down and arrested 53 Mossad-linked agents in Fars Province, southern Iran, law enforcement authorities have announced.
“To date, 53 individuals have been identified and detained for disrupting public opinion, transporting and maintaining Micro Air Vehicle (M.A.V.) parts, capturing images of sensitive areas, and transmitting those images to enemy media,” Yousef Malekzadeh, a deputy police chief in the province, told reporters on Sunday.
He said an operation to identify and arrest spies and agents working for Israel was put high on the agenda in the province immediately after the regime launched a war of aggression against Iran on June 13.
The official added that 16 M.A.V.s have been confiscated from the Mossad agents in the province.
Dozens of people have been arrested across Iran on charges of working with the Israeli spy services amid the ongoing aggression against the country.
