AhlulBayt News Agency: Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi has emphasized that Iran is a land of courageous men and women who, guided by Islamic teachings, do not fear death and cannot be defeated.
His remarks came on Tuesday, a day after an Israeli missile struck one of the buildings belonging to the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB) in Tehran.
According to IRNA, during the incident, news anchor Sahar Emami was live on air when the strike occurred. She resumed broadcasting shortly afterward, a gesture that the foreign minister praised as a remarkable act of bravery.
“At the height of the Zionist regime’s brutal assault on the national broadcaster last night, a fearless Iranian woman stood firmly before the camera, unwavering and patriotic. She was the voice of Iran,” Araqchi said in a message shared via the official Telegram channel of the Foreign Ministry spokesperson.
He also commended the broader IRIB staff for their courage, describing Iran as a nation of principled individuals who hold honor above the fear of death.
Araqchi added that the Iranian people draw their strength from the legacy of Imam Hossein (PBUH), whose teachings on courage and sacrifice are instilled in them from an early age.
At least two people were killed in Monday's strike on the IRIB compound—one a news editor, the other a staff member from the secretariat.
