According to Al-Vatan newspaper, the exhibition opened with the presence of Faisal bin Khaled Emir of Asir region and a number of cultural figures and artists.
The calligraphy works have been created in Arabic styles by Abdullah al-Sane.
Mr. al-Sane said that the works feature Quranic verses as well as Hadiths in which the name of the holy city of Media and prophetic miracles have been mentioned.
Abdullah al-Sane, who also teaches the Quran, is a renowned calligrapher in Saudi Arabia.
