Heavy Saudi securities and intelligence service surrounded on Tuesday Al-Awamia town in an indication of heightened tension.
Sources informed Rasid that several troop buses brought hundreds of anti-Riot forces in the past few days and have stationed in Al-Awamia police station.
The recent developments came after four days from the appearance of Shaikh Nimer Al-Nimer who is wanted by the authorities for over five months.
Security authorities opened fire in attempt to disperse prayers at Imam Hussain mosque in Awamia but failed for the second time to arrest Shaikh Nimer Baqer Al-Nimer on Sunday night.
Authorities are on the tail of Shaikh Al-Nimer for breaking a ban on religious speeches and criticizing the State for its negative position on Al-Baqeea incident when Saudi Religious police attacked Shia visitors in Madinah on last February.
In a recent development, Al-Nimer said that he will be in hideout for the rest of Ramadan as highlighted in his article published on Rasid today.
The rationale behind his position is " We must bear the current danger to push a greater danger." Al-Nimer said.
