AhlulBayt News Agency - Imam Khomeini center for Islamic Studies in Karbala, which is one of the participants in the eighth Najaf International Book Fair, which is sponsored by Imam Ali Holy Shrine, started the cultural initiative for the first time. The initiative is "Put a book, take a book, for sake of scientific and cultural benefit.
The supervisor of Imam Khomeini's center for Islamic Studies, Mr. Akram al-Lawendi said "This idea came as scientific and educational initiative for the Iraqi society and for the foreign visitors. it depends that the visitor put a book that he finished its reading or the visitor has two copies of the same book and take another free book.
Al-Lawendi added that "this initiative is the first in the book fair and it will not be the last and we hope our brothers from the owners of publishing houses, offices and cultural and scientific institutions to urge the Iraqi society in different ways in order to make the nation read.
