Homs - Units of the Syrian army and armed forces, in cooperation with the popular defense groups, established control over Maheen and Hawareen towns in the southeastern countryside of the central Homs province, after destroying the last positions of ISIS terrorists there, said a military source.
Earlier Sunday, the Syrian Army Air Force conducted a series of strikes against positions and movements of ISIS terrorists in the two towns, destroyed their positions and killed all terrorists inside as well as destroying vehicles equipped with heavy machine guns, Syria news agency reported.
Lattakia - In the coastal province of Lattakia, army units, in cooperation with the popular defense groups, continued their progress in the northeastern countryside of the province and established control on the height 1154 south of Kabana village after killing numbers of terrorists; most of them of Afghani nationality, the military source confirmed.
