Imam Hussein shrine strengthens international Quranic ties with West African institutions

Quranic education plays a crucial role in shaping Islamic learning across regions, particularly in West Africa. Collaborative initiatives between Islamic institutions aim to expand religious teachings and cultural preservation.

AhlulBayt News Agency: Sheikh Hassan al-Mansouri, the Quranic affairs advisor of the Astan (custodianship) of Imam Hussein (AS) holy shrine, met with Sharif Muhammad Ali Haidara, the president of Senegal’s al-Muzdahar International Quranic Foundation, to discuss strengthening cooperation.

During the meeting, al-Mansouri emphasized expanding collaboration between the two institutions in order to enhance Quranic initiatives. He highlighted the importance of joint efforts to serve the Holy Quran and promote Quranic education across West Africa.

According to a report published on imam hussein website both sides acknowledged the depth of their longstanding ties, which have been established for over fourteen years. They reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining cooperation, especially given the increasing acceptance of Quranic teachings in West African countries.

The discussions were part of a broader initiative involving visits and dialogues between al-Mansouri and leading Quranic figures and institutions worldwide. These efforts aim to facilitate the exchange of successful experiences and expand Quranic activities globally.

By fostering international partnerships, the meeting underscored the shared dedication to strengthening Islamic education and preserving the cultural heritage of the Quran in regions where its teachings continue to gain prominence.
