AhlulBayt News Agency: A multilingual awareness center has been inaugurated at the Grand Mosque in Mecca, aiming to provide educational and spiritual services to worshippers and visitors from around the world.
The initiative was launched by the Presidency of Religious Affairs at the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque. It seeks to enrich the experience of pilgrims by offering a broad range of resources in multiple languages, ensuring accessibility for diverse communities.
The awareness center provides translated copies of the Holy Quran, brochures on Islamic teachings, and guidance on Hajj and Umrah rituals. Visitors will also have access to materials promoting moderation in Islam and discussions on intellectual and spiritual security.
This center is the first of more than 100 multilingual enrichment hubs planned to open across the courtyards of the Grand Mosque during the 1446 AH Hajj season. These hubs are designed to enhance the cultural, educational, and religious dimensions of the pilgrimage.
The launch of this initiative coincides with the arrival of pilgrims from across the globe for the 2025 Hajj season, marking the beginning of an effort to provide better engagement and understanding of Islamic practices.
