AhlulBayt News Agency: Israel has escalated its military operations in the occupied West Bank city of Tulkarm and its two refugee camps, extending the offensive into its 103rd consecutive day.
The latest attacks have included home raids and the demolition of residential buildings. Israeli forces have maintained a strict siege on both Tulkarm and Nour Shams camps, firing on homes and vehicles throughout Thursday night. Stun grenades and reconnaissance drones were deployed, with explosions echoing across the area.
Meanwhile, Israeli bulldozers continue demolishing structures in Nour Shams as part of a broader plan to destroy 106 buildings—48 in Nour Shams and 58 in Tulkarm Camp—announced last week.
Since the beginning of the offensive, 13 Palestinians—including two women and a child—have been killed, while dozens have been wounded or detained. The destruction has displaced more than 25,000 people, forcing them to flee their homes.
In Nablus, Israeli forces besieged and shelled a home on Friday, preventing ambulances from accessing the site. Later, the Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) reported retrieving body parts of a young man from the shelled house. According to WAFA, Israeli forces have withheld the remaining parts of the body.
Since the announcement of a ceasefire in Gaza in January, Israel has intensified its attacks on Tulkarm, Jenin, and other parts of the occupied West Bank. In March, the regime broke the ceasefire and proceeded with large-scale military operations, further escalating tensions in the region.
