AhlulBayt News Agency: The director of Iran’s Mi’raj Choral Recitation Group said the group traveled to 8 countries in the past Persian calendar year (March 2024-March 2025).
Seyed Mohammad Mojani told IQNA that they visited Turkey, the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, France and Switzerland in Ramadan last year and then visited Iraq during the Arbaeen season.
The members of the group also had performances in the Iraqi Kurdistan Region and in Bosnia and Herzegovina, he noted.
They delivered more than 350 Tawasheeh (religious singing) performances in those countries, he said.
By the grace of God, last year was the most distinguished and honorable year in terms of quality for the members of the Miraj Group throughout their 18 years of activity, according to Mojani.
The group members achieved first place in the choral and harmonious recitation of the Holy Quran at the 47th National Quran Competition of the Islamic Republic of Iran, held in the city of Tabriz, he stated.
He went on to say that the use of collective capacities to promote Quranic culture and create quality works can bring society closer to the teachings of the Quran.
By relying on the principle of teamwork, one can achieve a world full of light and spirituality in which the teachings of the Quran are properly promoted and practiced, he concluded.
