AhlulBayt News Agency: In the United Kingdom, a man from Widnes has been arrested and charged in connection with a burglary at a mosque in Warrington.
The incident occurred on Monday, prompting police to respond to reports of a break-in at the mosque located on Arpley Street, according to local reports.
According to the reports, a mobile phone and a jacket were stolen from the premises. Following investigations, authorities apprehended a 43-year-old man in relation to the case.
A spokesperson for Cheshire Police confirmed, “David Roberts, of Clapgate Crescent, Widnes, has since been charged with one count of burglary other than a dwelling.”
The charge refers to a specific legal category under UK law that distinguishes burglaries of non-residential properties.
Roberts has been released on police bail and is scheduled to appear at Warrington Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, April 30.
