The ceremony witnessed a speech by the head of the Office of the Iraqi Shiite endowment; Dr. Haider al-Shammari, in which he stressed that the manufacture of the new grid for the shrine of Lady Zaynab (peace be upon her) is one of the proofs of loyalty to Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him)...
It was followed by a speech by the Secretary-General of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine; Sayed Mustafa Mortadha Dhea' al-Din, during which he explained that "our holy places are an integral part of our Islamic and humanitarian identity, and are one of the highlights of our belief and existence."
The ceremony included delivering poems by poets Ali al-Saffar al-Karbalai, the Syrian poet Zaki al-Nuri, the poet Mohammed al-Fatimi, and poet Karar Hussein al-Karbalai, as well as a chanting participation of Radood Qahtan al-Bdairi.
The ceremony concluded with the recitation of Lamentations by Sheikh Abdullah al-Dujaili.
After that, the grid was officially opened with the participation of a large presence of loyal believers who filled the entire sanctuary of the immaculate Lady Zaynab (peace be upon her).
