AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Following the terrorist attack orchestrated by gunmen, "Mahmoud Absalan" of the 110th Salman Farsi Brigade in Zahedan (southeastern Iran) was martyred.
The Quds Regional Headquarters of the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps announced that a bodyguard was shot at the Brigadier General Hosein Almasi's car at dawn today.
The report said Brigadier Gen. Hossein Almasi, commander of the Salman Farsi Brigade in Zahedan, survived the ambush in Zahedan city of southeastern Sistan and Baluchistan Province without any injury. It identified the fallen bodyguard as Mahmoud Absalan.
In this incident, Mahmoud Absalan, the son of Brigadier General Absalan, was martyred at the checkpoint.
The deputy governor of Sistan and Baluchestan said: "The perpetrators of this conflict have been arrested and intelligence and investigative measures are being carried out."
