Israeli enemy displaces al-Quds resident family after forcing it to raze home

The Israeli occupation authority (IOA) displaced on Saturday a Palestinian family after forcing it to demolish its own house in the east al-Quds (Jerusalem) neighborhood of Jabel Mukaber at the pretext of unlicensed construction.

AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): The Israeli occupation authority (IOA) displaced on Saturday a Palestinian family after forcing it to demolish its own house in the east al-Quds (Jerusalem) neighborhood of Jabel Mukaber at the pretext of unlicensed construction.

According to local sources, the family of Abu Sneineh had to demolish its home in Jabel Mukaber, which it had built seven years ago, after receiving a demolition notice from the Israeli municipality.

The municipality ordered the family to raze the house at their own expense if they wanted to avoid paying demolition expenses and fines to it.

Six individuals from the family were living in that house after the municipality had demolished their home in Ras al-Amud neighborhood in Silwan district in 2015.

Hundreds of al-Quds residents homes are threatened with demolition or appropriation as part of Israel’s Judaization plans in the holy city.

The al-Quds residents have no choice but to build without licenses because there are no structural maps that respond to the natural increase in their numbers, and for that reason, they are denied house permits.

The IOA also imposes building restrictions on the Palestinian natives in al-Quds and makes it hard for them to obtain construction licenses.

Israel’s systematic demolition of Palestinian homes in Occupied al-Quds is believed to be aimed at psychologically destroying the al-Quds residents families in an attempt to force them to move from the holy city.
