45,000 Palestinians attend Friday prayer in al-Aqsa Mosque

Tens of thousands of Palestinian Muslim worshipers attended the Friday prayer in the Aqsa Mosque despite the usual Israeli occupation’s restrictive measures in the vicinity of the Mosque and in the Old City of Occupied al-Quds (Jerusalem).

AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Tens of thousands of Palestinian Muslim worshipers attended the Friday prayer in the Aqsa Mosque despite the usual Israeli occupation’s restrictive measures in the vicinity of the Mosque and in the Old City of Occupied al-Quds (Jerusalem).

The Islamic Awkaf department in Occupied al-Quds said that 45,000 worshipers attended the Friday prayer, noting that the Israeli occupation police forces were deployed in the Old City and at the Mosque’s gates and scrutinized IDs of Palestinians.

Sheikh Mohammed Hussein, the Friday preacher, lashed out at the Israeli occupation’s measures that target al-Quds residents in their own city.

He said, nevertheless, that as the Israeli occupation authority and its settlers escalate their attacks on the Palestinian people to force them to surrender, the Palestinians affirm their insistence on remaining steadfast on their land.

Sheikh Hussein mentioned the Palestinian prisoners in his Khutba (sermon) and what they have been subjected to recently by the Israeli jailers, sending his greetings to those prisoners for their insistence on winning their freedom and dignity.

He also condemned the Israeli storming of the Aqsa Mosque, affirming that it is rejected by all heavenly religions.

The Sheikh finally championed patience despite the growing Israeli oppression, expressing belief that victory is nigh.
