Over 100 Jewish settlers defile Al-Aqsa courtyards under Israeli police protection

Dozens of settlers stormed on Wednesday the courtyards of the holy Al-Aqsa Mosque under Israeli police protection.

AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Dozens of settlers stormed on Wednesday the courtyards of the holy Al-Aqsa Mosque under Israeli police protection.

The Islamic Endowments Department in Occupied al-Quds (Jerusalem) reported that 134 settlers, including 95 Jewish students and 2 members of the intelligence officers broke into the Al-Aqsa Mosque during the morning period of the daily incursions.

It pointed out that the settler groups performed provocative Talmudic rituals in the Mosque's courtyards.

Meanwhile, the so-called “Temple groups” renewed their calls for a massive storming of the Al-Aqsa Mosque on the 28th of Ramadan, in commemoration of the so-called "unification of Jerusalem" day and to revenge for their loss in the vicinity of Bab al-Amud.

Khaled Mishaal, Hamas’s leader abroad, had previously warned of the settlers’ plans against Al-Aqsa Mosque on the 28th of Ramadan and called for the continuation of the popular uprising, especially on this day of Ramadan.

For its part, the Supreme Islamic Commission and the Council of Scholars and Preachers in al-Quds (Jerusalem) called on the Palestinian people to intensify their presence at Al-Aqsa Mosque to repel the Jewish settlers’ incursions.
