AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Iranian students must resort to an industrious and faithful approach to follow scientific and technical goals of the country, says Hoj. Ahmad Marvi, the chief custodian of Astan Quds Razavi, in a message issued on the occasion of the National Students’ Day.
The text of Hoj. Marvi’s message is as follows:
In the name of God
Leader of the Islamic Revolution: “I expect you the youth and professors to produce science. Move toward frontiers of science, think, and work a lot. Current frontiers of science can be passed by endeavor and great work”.
The 16th of Azar (6th of December) is reminiscent of sacrifice, courage and anti-arrogance approach of Iranian students who marked a turning point for independence and anti-oppression movements of Iranian students some 67 years ago. They gained these achievements by fighting against tyranny, arrogance, and oppression of the tyrannical regime.
Now that the world arrogance tries to stop Islamic Republic’s progress in scientific and technological areas by committing sinister crimes such as sanctions and terror, it is necessary for you, dear students, to follow realization of scientific and technical perspectives of the country with faith, endeavor, power, and strength.
As Leader’s statement on the second phase of the Revolution stipulates, you should continue efforts on the path of science with more responsibility, like Jihad. I also recommend you to take your steps in scientific Jihad with double power and endeavor. I also want you to pave the way for more progress and development of Iran and to make enemies of the country disappointed by relying on your great strive and dependence on the Almighty.
At the end, I commemorate the memory of martyred students and congratulate this day to all dear students. I also ask God from the vicinity of Imam Reza (AS) holy shrine to bless health, honor, and success to all Iranian students.
