AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): At a meeting of heads of the National Task Force for Fighting Coronavirus on Thursday, the President stressed that the continuation of the screening plan of the Ministry of Health and Medical Education is essential with the expansion and development of diagnostic tests and the identification of suspicious cases can play a major role in maintaining public health.
Dr Hassan Rouhani also said at the meeting that the provision of services to foreign nationals with coronavirus in Iran should continue.
The President also stressed the need to pay special attention to students’ education through virtual methods and ordered the Minister of Education to create the necessary mechanisms so that students can solve their academic problems in person by teachers.
He also said that it is necessary to carefully evaluate the various teaching methods and the set of efforts that have been made by teachers and students in the field of education since March.
At the meeting, the Ministry of Health and Medical Education presented a report on the preparation of white, yellow and red areas in the country, according to which the recovery of patients is increasing and the proportion of deaths in patients with coronavirus in the country remains declining, which indicates that the health ministry’s screening and identification in the early stages of the disease is very good with people’s cooperation.
