AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Kuwait announced it will not allow import of Quran copies that have not received the required permission.
According to al-Watan daily, the Kuwait Customs Office said all copies of the Quran that are brought into the country must have the required permission issued by the country’s Department for Overseeing Quran Printing and Publication.
Those who act otherwise will be fined between 3,000 and 5,000 Kuwaiti dinars, it said.
The office also said that printing houses that print copies of the Quran without receiving the permission will be shut down for three months.
