Video footage showed police arresting and assaulting Noëlle McAfee, the chair of Emory University’s philosophy department and Emory University economics professor Caroline Fohlin after participating in a protest demanding an immediate cessation of war in Gaza and an end to American support for the Israeli occupation entity.

The footage shows two large officers pushed her to the floor and forced her arms behind her back to zip tie her hands together.

She was one of hundreds arrested across the United States as authorities crackdown on Palestine protest camps at universities.
Local platforms also published scenes showing Atlanta police attempting to disperse students at Emory University with rubber bullets after they demonstrated in support of Palestine and condemned the genocide in Gaza.
American media reported that police officers fired tear gas and
rubber bullets to disperse protesting students and faculty members at
Emory University.
